The Good Housekeeping publication is very reputable as a source for product reviews and similar information across a number of industries. It does a lot more than just basic product reviews though, for example: each year the publication releases a list of automobiles that it thinks are the Best Family Vehicles of 2023. What’s new in the 2023 Kia Telluride?

For the 2023 model year, the Kia Telluride received a mid-generation refresh – its very first, considering it was just introduced for the 2020 model year! The redesigned model features a ton of refreshed design cues, updated features and other upgrades to make an exciting vehicle for any type of drive, not just families. However, its advanced safety features and spacious interior, packed full of great content, makes for a great family vehicle.

Some of the new design cues include a redesigned front fascia and grille, a redesigned rear fascia and trim, revised lighting around the exterior – including headlamps, foglamps and taillamps – and completely new wheels for each and every trim level. There are also three new exterior color options! On the inside, the dashboard, steering wheel and display audio system have all been updated as well.

To touch on a few of the new features found in the vehicle, that aforementioned display audio system has increased in size by two inches to 12.3”, plus you can now opt for a Full Display Mirror with HomeLink functionality and a Smart Power Liftgate with Auto Close functionality.

Let’s take a look at safety to close out, since that’s a crucial aspect of any family vehicle. The 2023 Telluride features an expanded suite of Advanced Driver Assistive Safety features that includes two brand new systems as standard technologies in the vehicle. The new tech includes Intelligent Speed Limit Assist, which can detect speed limits and either adjust accordingly or send alerts to the driver, as well as Forward Collision Avoidance – Junction Turning, which detects oncoming traffic while taking left turns and can react accordingly.
