What’s New for the 2023 Kia Stinger

Changes to the Stinger in the 2023 Model Year

While there aren’t a ton of changes to the Stinger in the 2023 model year, there are still a few important details, distinctions, and additions. First up, new for the 2023 model year, the Kia Stinger is only available in two trim levels: GT-Line and GT-2. The key difference between them is the engines. In the GT-Line, one will find a turbocharged 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that generates up to 300 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque. The GT-2, on the other hand, has a twin-turbocharged 3.3-liter V6 engine that pumps out up to 368 horsepower and 376 pound-feet of torque. What’s more, while rear-wheel drive comes standard on every Stinger model, all-wheel drive is available as well. In short, no matter which customization you may choose, the 2023 Kia Stinger is sure to deliver an unforgettable driving experience.

New Packages for the 2023 Kia Stinger

As for additions in the new model year, there are a couple new packages for the 2023 Kia Stinger. First up, the GT-Line Apex Special Edition package introduces Brembo Brakes©, a carbon-fiber-patterned interior, and black fender garnishes, exhaust tips, and mirror caps. As if that wasn’t enough, one can also add the Sun & Sound package. With it, one will receive a sunroof, a power-adjustable front passenger seat, and the Harman Kardon® 15-speaker premium sound system.

The GT-2’s Exclusive Grand Tourer Special Edition Package

Last but not least, owners of the GT-2 trim will have the option of adding the Grand Tourer Special Edition Package. While this package does add some familiar features—such as the aforementioned black exhaust tips and fender garnishes—it is also brimming with beautiful exclusives. Among them, one will find unique 19-inch black alloy wheels, a stunning suede interior with red stitching and piping accents, and three premium exterior paint colors: Panthera Metal, Ceramic Silver, and HiChroma Red.
