Kia NBA All Star

Kia America is the official automotive partner of the NBA, WNBA, and the NBA G League. The NBA (National Basketball Association) season runs from October to April, ending with the playoffs. In February, Kia welcomed its All-Star exhibition game featuring 24 of the league’s star players. Two of the best players are then drafted by the most votes. It was a 3-day All-Star event, during which Kia presented the MVP (Most Valuable Player) award to Jason Tatum, who set a record for the most points scored in an All-Star Game, along with other awards that weekend. The NBA finals are played in June, during which Kia will run various advertising campaigns, such as tv commercials and digital ads. Kia will also transport players and officials during the playoffs and finals.
Kia sponsors LeBron James, a two time NBA champion, since 2014 and in 2018 they collaborated to make the 2019 LeBron James Stinger GT. LeBron is featured in many Kia advertisements and Kia events. The 2015 Kia K900 LeBron James edition luxury sedan is the car he customized himself and auctioned with proceeds benefitting the LeBron James Family Foundation.

Kia sponsors basketball teams and leagues around the world. Kia is the official sponsor of the Australian National Basketball League (NBL) and the official automotive partner of the Euroleague basketball competition. Kia has partnerships with teams such as Melbourne United in the NBL and the Lietuvous Rytas Vilnius in the Lithuanian Basketball League.

Since 2002, Kia has been the major sponsor of the Australian Open, now held at the Kia Arena and Kia has supplied numerous vehicles to the world’s top tennis players, officials, media, and VIPs. They also sponsor the Kia Racing Team with Kia vehicles as well as various-community sponsored 5k and 10k races.
