The trim levels determine the engine options of the 2023 Kia K5 2023: The LXS, GT -Line, and EX trim levels all feature a four-cylinder, 1.6 L turbocharged engine that produces 180 hp. While the standard Kia K5 engine drives the wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission, the GT trim feeds on a four-cylinder turbocharged 2.5L engine, producing 290 hp. The car has an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
